BUCHER Hydraulics’ Catalogues now available in Automation Studio™! (Montreal, Canada) August 16th, 2024 Famic Technologies Inc., creator of Automation Studio™, the renowned CAD and simulation software for hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and automation, is proud to announce it has joined efforts with Bucher Hydraulics to provide their products catalogues in Automation Studio™, to simplify the validation of hydraulic systems’ operations. All digital products in this virtual catalogue are pre-configured with Bucher Hydraulics’ latest technical specifications and are compatible with the Hydraulic Workshop of Automation Studio™ 8.0. Users may now quickly get access to components for their systems integration and spend less time developing valve and pump models. Each Catalogue offers an extensive set of data attributes for each component. It includes its PDF specifications sheet, 2D symbol ISO 1219:2012 compliant, images, technical data, commercial information, simulation model(s), virtual test bench(es) and use cases showing that the component behaves according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Furthermore, a Product Configurator is also available, allowing the user to build the component’s part number as per Bucher Hydraulics’ ordering code information. Once the configuration process is completed, a valid part number with all of its corresponding product characteristics is generated. The Catalogue will allow the entire Automation Studio™ users’ community to have access to cartridge valve components from Bucher Hydraulics with available 3D representations of the valves. This addition makes this catalogue compatible with the manifold module, allowing users to design and simulate their manifold projects. Users may simply drag and drop the desired component from the Catalogue into the Automation Studio™ Editor to build their circuit. The component simulation models can be directly used for the design of hydraulic system solutions, simulating and monitoring in Automation Studio™ and, ultimately, use the model for digital twin projects. “Partnering with Bucher Hydraulics, a renowned industry leader, presents an avenue to offer their components to our extensive users’ community. The capabilities of Automation Studio™ enable sophisticated simulations of Bucher Hydraulics’ intricate components. This catalogue will facilitate swift circuit design and prototyping for users of Bucher Hydraulics' components, streamlining the creation of machinery and hydraulic solutions”, says Richard Gagné, Quality Manager, Famic Technologies Inc. Developed and certified in accordance with Famic Technologies’ Quality System, the Bucher Hydraulics Catalogues are now available to the entire Automation Studio™ users’ community. Learn more!
